OUR MISSION
1.To help to poor, street and orphans children.
2.To help children break the cycle of proverty by:
Offering a free and good quality education to all poor children From surrounding villages regardless of their sex or caste.
3.By taking in forgotten orphans and offering them food and shelter.
PROVERTY
Many Many children are suffering, They are beaging near the cities and temple.
Because they have problem. They are not getting enough food. They don’t have good education. They need every time good care.
Children will meet you and tell you we are poor!”
They have never traveled, do not watch movies, have no education. They know that they are poor.
They simply know it because they are facing it everyday:
“ My village has no school, no doctor, no electricity and no water. During the winter people get very sick and no body is available to treat them.
During the summer mosquitoes are very dangerous and finally, the rainy season the house cave in because roof is old and broken.
- Suraj, 06 years old.
We are 05 children at home but I have no father. My sister and brother they are working with my mother in a small tea shop. In the evening we’ve ony earned 80 rupees(1.5 euro) ---- Khushboo-- 10 years old.
Finding access to education, medical care or even to simple nutrition is a constant struggle for children who continually face a lack of opportunities.
Bodhgaya is located in The state of Bihar. It is the least developed part of India. Suffering from the misfortune of unstable government, out of 90 million people living here. Millions of families live under the proverty line, struggling with a monthly income of only 18 euros( around 1000 rupees).
The illiteracy rate is also very high, reaching even 50%, which is equal to as many as 45 millions people. Sadly, women are the primary victims of illiteracy, this being for two main reason: firstly, education is so expansive that parents prefer their daughters, however young, to work in the fields.
Secondly, as a result of arranged marriages, young wives will likely be required to stay at home taking care of household chores. Because of unaffordable medical costs(doctors are too far, treatment is too expensive). People are unable to cure themselves and as a result cannot survive. 50 orphans have already been identified in the surrounding villages.
OUR SCHOOL
Our school name has been given by two people from Japan.
MR. Tmura Kei From Tokyo, Japan & Ms. Fukuyama Saori , Nagoya, Japan.
AO Zora children welfare school welcomes around 125 schoolars from 5 years to 14 years old. At present time divided into six section according to their level. We do not distrminate between religion, sex or caste. In the school mostly children comes from lower and ‘ untouchable ‘ caste. More than 50% of students are girls.
Eleven orphans children aged from 6 years to 12 years old are permanent residents within the school.
Our school was initially established in the year 2006 by Nikesh Kumar sinha. With the kind intention of helping children break the cycle of proverty, he personally conducted surveys researching, in accordance with the children’s need, which was the best track to follow to achieve long term development to all communites in Bihar.
Education appeared as being the most fruitful way to realize his dream. Thus, with his personal saving, Nikesh set up Ao Zora children welfare school in Sujata village, near Bodhgaya. Bodhgaya is a highly spiritual city. Considered the single most important palace of pilgrammage for Buddhist from all ovwer the world. This is the palace where the lord Buddha has got enlighment, 255o years ago. As a result, many shrines and monastries were built to international donors, surrounding oldest and most famous Mahabodhi Temple.
Today, the school is run only on donations, which are made by people, primary westerns and Japanes. Thus far these donations have allowed us to countinue our project. The government of Bihar does not give the school either humane or financial support.
