今日アナーキズム運動は欧米を中心に、中南米、東南アジア、中東、アフリカにおいて拡大し、それは”グローバル・アナーキズム”ともいうべき様相を呈している。この現象は、新自由主義という単一の原理に基づくシステムに、地球上にいるあらゆる個人が、自らの意志に関わりなく巻き込まれ、支配されることに抵抗し、グローバルに連携することによって生み出されていると言える。日本とアジアはこのような動向に結びつくのだろうか。日本におけるアナーキズムの過去を知ることは、このような現在と未来のアナーキズムを見据える上でどのような意味があるのか。ガブリエル・クーン氏をゲストに迎え、グローバル・アナーキズムの過去・現在・未来を見据えながら、世界とアジアが接続する可能性を問うのが、今回のシンポジウムの趣旨である。
ガブリエル・クーンさんのトランスナショナルなアナーキズムについての言葉：

Purpose description: From Europe/ United States to Central- and South America, Southeast Asia, Middle East and Africa, today anarchism movement is expanding worldwide. It should be called "global anarchism". This phenomenon is created by the resistances of all associated & connected individuals around the world, who would not want to be involved, but in fact are involved regardless of her/his will, in the single system based on the single principle called "Neoliberalism". How we could connect Asia/Japan to this worldwide phenomenon? Why is it so important to explore the history of Japanese and Asian anarchism in order to think about the present and future of global anarchism? With our guest & friend Gabriel Kuhn, we will discuss about the possibility to connect Asia and the World, in the perspective of the past, present and future of global anarchism.
Gabriel Kuhn on transnational movement: "....in the same time, there are many desires in everyday life, which we can share beyond all human economic differences: we want enjoy, the meal, playing a football game, a concert, making a demonstration, with people of all classes and culture....The formation of anti-colonial forms of transnational community must begin, therefore, with the everyday needs and wishes that we all share. On this level, we can connect and unite us - this is the condition for fighting together against the economic boundaries that separate us, and against the politic structures that perpetuate this separation."
