Test Film is a showcase of photographs, 8mm films and sound performance of Tokyo's psychogeographical observation from a Migrant perspective, self-curated by Jong Pairez.
Jong Pairez, a dropout of the University of the Philippines college of Fine Arts, migrated to Japan three years ago in search of green pasture.
He worked in various odd jobs and during his free time, he drifts around Tokyo to allow spontaneous encounters to happen. His everyday experiences of spontaneity provide the bases for his art projects on geography, displacement and mobility.
